Can We Vibe-Code Our Way to Happiness?
Can we vibe-code our way to happiness?
I've been journaling weekly for close to a year and my style has evolved to writing a list of weekly gratitudes on the weekends. As I was exploring ways to switch to a daily pace, my brain clicked at wake up last Saturday and handed me a simple concept for a daily gratitude micro-journaling app.
I took this opportunity to try and "vibe-code" my idea with Lovable's AI and honestly am incredibly impressed with the experience and the result, all without writing a single line of code.
This is a game-changer for anyone, but especially for us, Product people: you can now prototype complex flows in hours with AI, then share for testing, and extract PRDs and user stories for your teams.
Or, as importantly, just have fun building stuff that feels good...
So here it is: Daily Sparks, a micro-journaling app designed to sharpen our ability to notice the good in our days.
I call Sparks all the nice little things that happen to us, even on tough days. For example, catching up with a friend is a Spark, so is a 10-minute walk in the sun, a great cup of coffee, a fun game, a spontaneous outing, a moment of quiet, or an old song.
Science shows that the more we collect these moments, the more our mindset shifts toward optimism, presence, and joy.
✨ I've been using the web app for a week and it's exactly what I (literally) dreamed it would be. I think you might like it too, so why not join me?
👉 Try collecting Sparks for a week and see what happens. It's free. Your data stays local in your browser. There's a gentle onboarding to get you started, and optional email reminders if you want them.
